Soly Italy and Wekiwi launch the first dynamic energy contract in Italy

Milan, May 16 2025 - Soly, a Dutch Clean Energy Tech company, and Wekiwi, a digital energy provider, are launching Italy’s first dynamic energy contract. This innovation introduces a new energy usage model to the market, giving consumers the opportunity to buy and sell electricity on an hourly basis, leveraging market price fluctuations to optimize consumption and achieve savings. This solution allows Soly customers not only to switch to solar energy with the installation of a photovoltaic system, but also to integrate the dynamic energy contract offered in partnership with Wekiwi. Unlike a fixed-price contract, the user buys energy at the lowest prices and feeds it into the grid when its value is higher, thus increasing savings and improving the efficiency of their system. With Soly Brain, users can manage their consumption intelligently—charging electric cars or storing energy in batteries during the most cost-effective times. This approach enables consumption optimization based on real-time pricing and therefore savings compared to traditional contracts.“To adopt a sustainable energy approach—one that positively impacts the environment and personal consumption—the first step is installing a photovoltaic system. But it’s possible to go further by optimizing consumption based on market prices,” continues Artero. “That’s exactly what we set out to do with the design of Soly Brain® and now with our partnership with Wekiwi: help users save even more. Thinking that a smart system, through a simple app, can notify you of the ideal moment to sell or store the energy produced by your solar system—for the benefit of your wallet and the environment—is not futuristic, it’s simply the future,” says Matteo Artero, Country Manager of Soly Italy. “With the introduction of the dynamic energy contract together with Soly, we are bringing true innovation to the Italian market—capable of changing the energy supply paradigm,” says Massimo Bello, CEO of Wekiwi. “It’s not just a technological evolution, but a new way of experiencing energy: transparent, flexible, and built around the needs of the customer. At Wekiwi, we believe that digitalization is key to an effective energy transition, and this partnership demonstrates how sustainability, savings, and consumer awareness can be combined.” |
